Overview

Pixora ("the App") is an iOS application offering an on-device AI photo toolkit: image upscaling, background removal & background composition, photo metadata (EXIF) viewing and removal, and ID photo editing. All image processing happens entirely on your device. The App does not upload your photos to a server.

Data Collection

The developer does not collect your photos or store them on a server. Pixora processes selected photos locally and saves edited images to your Photos library only when you choose to save.
  • All image processing is performed 100% offline using on-device AI models and native image APIs.
  • No user accounts are required.
  • No photos are uploaded to any server.
  • No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included. There are no ads.

ID Photo Processing

The ID Photo tool processes your selected portrait on your device to separate the foreground, replace the background with a solid color, adjust position and scale, and export the selected dimensions. Portraits and the resulting foreground masks are not sent to the developer or a third-party processing service.

This feature does not identify or authenticate people, compare faces against an identity database, or create biometric identity templates. It does not introduce additional permissions, tracking or advertising SDKs.

Free exports include a Pixora watermark; Pro exports omit it. This difference is applied locally and does not require uploading the image.

Permissions

The App requests only the minimum access necessary:

  • Photo selection: The system photo picker provides access only to photos you explicitly select, without granting the App general read access to your photo library.
  • Photo Library (add): Required to save your edited images back to your photo library.

The App does not request camera, location, contacts, or any other sensitive permissions. The optional map used to edit a photo's GPS tag does not access your real-time location.

Purchases

Pixora offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Pixora Pro") that removes watermarks and unlocks high-resolution export. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Pixora does not receive or store your payment information. Purchase validation is handled on-device via Apple's StoreKit entitlements.

Data Storage

  • Edited images are saved to your device's photo library only when you choose to save.
  • If you enable iCloud Photos, Apple may sync selected or saved photos according to your device settings. This is managed by Apple's services, not by a Pixora upload service.
  • Original photos are never modified in place.
  • All AI models are bundled with the App and do not download additional data.
  • Uninstalling the App removes all App-specific data. Saved images remain in your library until you delete them.

External Links and Support

The App includes links to official passport photo requirements and our support and privacy pages. Opening a link connects to the destination website, whose privacy policy applies. Pixora does not attach your selected photos to these links.

If you email support, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send and use them to respond to your request. Please avoid sending identity documents or sensitive photos unless necessary to explain the issue.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect information from children. The App contains no content directed at children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
